Bhuta Kola at Brahma Baidarkala Temple, Kasaragod
Sri Brahma Baidarkal Garodi temple located at Hosamane, Adukkathu Bayal in the district of Kasaragod, Kerala, India, is famous for Nemotsava — an annual festival. As part of this temple festival, Bhuta Kola — the representation of daivam (god) is performed. Similar to Theyyam, artistes wear comparatively small headgears and perform various rituals. Devotees throng the vast ground in front of the temple, to witness this rich and colourful ceremony.
