Munnar Town
Featured in the video is Munnar town that can well be described as the hub of Munnar hill station. This is the nearest big town for the few thousands of residents in the hilly region. A major chunk of the residents are laborers working in the tea estates. Tea is cultivated in thousands of hectares of land blanketing the rolling hills in green.
Looking down the Munnar town, there is an ancient church atop a hill. Close to the town there is a temple dedicated to Lord Subrahamanya. Travellers to Munnar can do a small shopping in the town. There are several shops selling spices and fresh farm produces. Hotels and resorts in the town provide accommodation options ranging from budget to luxury. Along with the misty hills, sprawling estates, winding roads and colonial mansions, the charm of the Munnar town is a not-to-miss experience for travelers.
