The magic of Munnar

Located in Idukki district at the confluence of three rivers, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, this hill resort located 1600 m above sea level, had once been the favourite summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India.

Among the exotic flora found here is Neelakurinji, a rare plant which blooms once in twelve years. Anamudi, the highest peak in South India, is also located at Munnar.
