Pedalling on the golden sands

Beaches of Kerala are venues for enjoyments especially during evening time. People gather at the beaches to watch the sunset and for a bit of leisure.

This video clip has visuals taken from various beaches of Kerala including Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram, Nattika in Thrissur and Muzhappilangad in Kannur.

Youngsters riding on bicycles and volleyball playing are common sights in the beaches.

Kovalam is an international beach destination in the state. Muzhapilangad is the only drive-in beach in the state while Nattika is a less explored destination.

Located in the south-western tip of India, the western border of the state is the majestic Arabian Sea. The total coastline of the state is 590 kms.
