Pig Farm, Angamaly

It is a common practice these days that most of the farmers are interested in vegetable farming and fruit farming. Many of them are least interested in factory farming as they don’t even dare to try it.

Times have changed and now more farmers are coming forward to try different types of farming methods.

Pig farming is one of its kind and apart from the past, pigs are now intensely farmed. Shown here is a pig farm in Angamaly, a municipality in Ernakulam district in the state of Kerala, India.

Pigs usually alter inedible feeds, forages, certain grain byproducts obtained from mills, meat by products, damaged feeds and garbage into valuable nutritious meat.
