Harvest at Kuttanad
Kuttanad region comes under the districts of Alappuzha, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta districts of Kerala, India. Earlier, most of the area was covered with water throughout the year. Kuttanadu is one of the few places in the world where farming is carried out below sea level and is rightly called the Rice bowl of Kerala.
