Shankhumugham coastal fishing area

Shankhumugham beach in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, is a popular tourist destination. Apart from a haunting sunset scene and other sights, the beach offers you glimpses of the life of the fishermen community here. Traditional fishing using nets, country boats and catamarans is common in the area. In the video, the local fishermen are seen to be setting out for their daily catch.
