St. Joseph's School, Thiruvananthapuram
Started by the Catholic diocese, St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram is one of the oldest educational institutions in Kerala. The school stands as a proud symbol in the middle of the city and has a rich heritage.
St. Joseph’s was one of the few schools, which offered Latin as a second language. The school, which has a big campus, encourages sports and provides financial support to the participants.
In 1998 the administration of the school was handed over to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Trivandrum. Jo-Fiesta, a cultural festival, is held every year in this school with the participation of students from other schools in Trivandrum.
