College of Agriculture, Vellayani

Shown in this video is the College of Agriculture, located at Vellayani, a suburb of Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, South India. Established in May 1955, this institution is the centre of undergraduate and postgraduate education in agriculture.

The college is situated in a sprawling campus. An interesting fact about this institution is that the college building belongs to the royal family of erstwhile Travancore Kingdom.

Proper training is given to the students as part of their course to develop all the major crops in the state. The students raise all such crops as a work experience program in small plots in the college farm.
