Urovasti - curing chest pain in Ayurveda

Urovasti is administered on the ‘uras’ or the chest for treating pain in the sternum. Like in Kativasti, a small tank of black gram paste is made on the chest. Oil is poured into it and allowed to remain there for some time. It is part of the Purvakarma therapy of Ayurvedic tradition.
