Netradhara - pouring of herbal extracts over the eyes

Pouring extracts of certain herbs in a small stream over the eyes is netra dhara or akshi tharpana, a part of Purvakarma therapy. Normally a funnel with leaves of jack tree is used for netradhara. The liquid used here is swarasam or the extract of certain herbs.
