Fireworks - Thrissur Pooram
Thrissur Pooram, famed as ‘the pooram of all poorams’ is celebrated annually in Thrissur - the cultural capital of Kerala, India. The colourful festival, which lasts for about 36hours features lively events with more than 50 caparisoned elephants topped by colourful parasols alongside traditional ensembles. The last three hours of the festival takes you to a dream world as fireworks burst across the dark night sky. Featured here are the fire works held at night, which marks the end of the festival.
