Kaliyadakka (Cheeda)
Ingredients
Boiled rice (soaked for 8 hours) - 2 cups
Grated coconut - 2 cups
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil
Method of preparation
Let us start by grinding the soaked rice along with grated coconut. To this, add salt, cumin seeds and pepper. Mix well without adding water. Now make small balls from the dough. Dry the balls with the help of a cloth. Once they are dry, proceed to deep fry the balls.
