Kutiyattam-Part-2

Kutiyattam is a 2000 years old dance form which originated in Kerala and is considered as the greatest antiquity in terms of international theatrical history. It is a unique performance in which the performer alone portrays all the characters in the play.

In this video you can see Kailasodharanam, a popular chapter in Ramayana which depicts the life and mission of Lord Rama. The thoughts of demon King Ravana, the ruler of Lanka after his attempt to lift Mount Kailasa, the abode of Lord Shiva are shown in this video.
