An excerpt from Angada doothu, a Chakyarkoothu play is presented here. The artiste describes the arrival of Angada, the monkey who carried the Lord Rama’s message to Ravana. The soldiers at the entrance of the Lanka kingdom find it difficult to stop Angada from entering the place.

Chakyarkoothu is one of the ancient classical performing art forms of Kerala. Performing here is Margi Madhu, an accomplished artiste.
