Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Bylakuppe
Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, one of the four great Tibetan monasteries of central Tibet, is the original seat of the Panchen Lama. Tashi Lhunpo Monastery at Bylakuppe was built by Tibetan exiles as a settlement in India. Shown here is the video of the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery.
Bylakuppe is the Tibetan Refugee resettlement, located to the west of Mysore district in Karnataka, India. The other famous monastery situated here is the Namdroling Nyingmapa Monastery – the largest teaching centre of Nyingmapa (a lineage of Tibetan Buddhism) in the world.
