State Central Library, Bangalore

The State Central Library working inside the Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall is situated in Cubbon Park, a landmark area within the heart of Central Administrative Area in Bengaluru (Bangalore) city, Karnataka.

Also known as Seshadri Memorial Library, the library was awarded the Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Award for the best state central library in India in the year 2000.

Built in 1915 AD in memory of Sir K.Seshadri Iyer (Dewan of Mysore State), Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall is a noted structure in classic European style with Tuscan and Carinthian columns.
