St. Philomena's Church in Mysore
The St. Philomena's Church in Mysore is one of the oldest churches in India, which is located at Karnataka state. Designed by Daly (Frenchman) was built in the Neo Gothic style with inspiration drawn from the Cologne Cathedral at Rome. Saint Philomena is a saint and martyr of the Roman Catholic Church.
Inside the church there are beautiful stained glass windows from France with paintings depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, the Last Supper, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection.
It is the towers or spires which is most attractive part in the church and the entire church is built in the Neo Gothic style is one of the largest Cathedrals in South Asia.
