Rajas Seat, Madikeri
Raja’s Seat or the seat of King, one of the much sought after spots in the district of Kodagu in Coorg, Karnataka state of India, is a well maintained garden from where you get a striking view of the surrounding hills and the valley near by.
Legend says that the rulers of Kodagu used to spend their evenings in this pavilion for relaxing from the tiring regal duties and hence it got the name Raja’s Seat. It has now been transformed into a lovely garden and one can watch the glorious sunrise and the enchanting sunset from here.
