Jala Khandeshvaran, the monolithic shiva lingam at Hampi in Bellary. This monolith is just beside the Lakshminarasimha idol. The water of Tungabhadra River is diverted on to the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. The river water keeps on caressing over the Shiva idol.
Hampi was once the seat of the Hindu Kingdom Vijayanagara. It is situated on the southern bank of Tungabhadra River at Hospet village in Belleri district, Karnataka state, India.
