Jibi gate in fort at Srirangapatna
Jibi gate is a narrow fortified entrance used by Mysorean troops to mount attacks against the Bombay Army encamped across the Cauvery (Kaveri) River. Srirangapatna is known for its seemingly impregnable fort, associated with the great ruler Tipu Sultan in Mysore, Karnataka, India. Srirangapatna, is the island fortress of Tipu Sultan, the legendary Tiger of Mysore.
