Directorate of Horticulture at Lal Bagh, Bangalore

It is the Directorate of Horticulture housed within the botanical garden, Lal Bagh. Lal Bagh is now under the control of the Directorate of Horticulture, Government of Karnataka.

This beautiful garden was given the status of a Government Botanical Garden in 1856, and since then, it has been an internationally renowned centre for scientific study of plants and conservation of plants. Now the garden is a lush green heaven with an area of 240 acres in the heart of Bangalore city, Karnataka, India.
