Yantrodharaka Anjaneya temple or Hanuman temple at Hampi
Video shows the Yantrodharaka Anjaneya Temple, also known as Hanuman Temple, one of the most sacred places in Hampi in Karnataka state in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman (The Monkey God). This whitewashed shrine is located on top of the Anjaneyanadri Hill.
This temple contains the image of Lord Hanuman positioned inside an amulet (locally called Yantra and hence the name). If you get a chance to take a closer look, you can find a number of monkeys carved around this amulet like the hour markers in a clock dial, hence it is called Yantrodharaka Anjaneya.
It is situated right behind the Kodanda Rama Temple near the Chakrathirtha at Hampi, a historical site located in south India. The temple is on the banks of River Tungabhadra.
