Vyasaraya temple or Vyasa Mutt, Hampi
It is the Vyasaraya temple, which functioned as one of the oldest universities in India. It is the said that recently this building was discovered as the Lokapavana University built by Vyasaraya during Vijayanagara era in Hampi. It is located opposite the Bali Sugriva cave, near Chakratheertha, faces the western direction.
From this place one can see the gopura of Virupaskha temple and the freely flowing Tungabhadra River. Hampi, a historical site located in South India, is on the banks of River Tungabhadra in Karnataka state.
