Vitthala Bazaar at Hampi
It is the Vitthala Bazaar near the Vitthala temple in Hampi. The bazaar is in the same style of other market places here, with rows of square-shaped buildings and is seen to be single level and or two levels, in the form of an arcade. The arcades are open structures with no doors and it shows the level of honesty and higher sense of ethics that existed there.
Hampi, the UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the seat of the Hindu Kingdom Vijayanagara. It is situated on the southern bank of Tungabhadra River at Hospet village, Karnataka state, India.
