Shri Jagannath Temple, Ranchi, Jharkhand

This video shows Shri Jagannath temple, one of the holy places in Ranchi, Jharkhand state of India. It is a beautiful temple at the top of the hill. It was built in the year 1691 in the architectural style of Puri Jagannath temple in Orissa.

It stands like the fort in the top of the hill from where the whole city can be viewed. A road is being constructing in this place which will help the vehicles to reach the temple.

There is also a food stall near the temple where you get various snacks and cool drinks. The main attraction of this place is the chariot festival at times which draws a big crowd of tribal and the non-tribal.
