Tatanagar at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
Initially a small village, Jamshedpur in the state of Jharkhand, India, was developed by a Jamshedji Nusserwanji Tata, great industrialist. Also known by the names Steel City or Tatanagar, it is the first planned city of India, where several branches of TATA Group of Companies located.
A major industrial centre, Jamshedpur or Tatanagar was declared as the 7th cleanest city of India for the year 2010 according to survey by the Government of India. Featured here is Jubilee Park, a beautiful garden and park that covers an area of 237.75 acres.
The park was offered to the native inhabitants of Jamshedpur by the Tata Steel Company to celebrate the completion of 50 glorious years of establishment of the city. People of Jamshedpur alongside tourists and travellers most often visit this park to spend some joyful moments.
