Bactrian Camel Ride
One of the attractions in the Nubra Valley, located in the Ladakh District of Kashmir, India, is the double humped Bactrian camel. These gentle ungulates, which once widely roamed in parts of Central Asia and Tibet are nowadays domesticated for their milk and fur.
In the picturesque Nubra Valley they add more charm to the serene valley floor bordered by the imposing peaks of the Ladakh Himalayas in Jammu and Kashmir. These camels are now a major attraction among tourists who get a chance to go for a ride on them, especially the children, who invariably enjoy the ride very much.
