Around the charming Suru River
Forming the northern and western boundaries of the Zanskar Range, the Suru River is a tributary of the mighty Indus. The river forms a valley between the Zanskar and the Great Himalayan ranges in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. River Suru keeps a south to north course and is fed by the glaciers on the north side of the Great Himalayan range. The course of the river shown in this video was taken near Kargil, where it is quite big.
