Snow Festival in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir

Tourists throng the snow covered picturesque and pristine Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir to take part in the annual Snow Festival. The Snow Festival involving a number of events like snow cycling, ice hockey and snow rugby kick-started on February 03 at Gulmarg. The festival inaugurated by J&K Tourism Minister Nawan Rigzin Jora is hosted with the objective of boosting tourism in the state. The tourists from various parts of India have arrived in Gulmarg to participate in the challenging events of snow sports.
