Vasant Ras, Manipuri Dance

Manipuri dance is one of the most popular classical dance forms in India. It is said to have originated in Manipur state of India. This dance form mainly portrays the scenes from Hindu epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Like the other classical dance forms, Manipuri dance was also performed in the temples since the main theme is devotion.
