Kathakali Padam, Vichanebhata

Kathakali is a traditional dance drama which originated in 17th century in Kerala. It is considered as one of the oldest theatre forms in India. Usually the singers stand towards the back of the stage and sing while the costumed dancers mime out the story centrestage.
