This rail route is the century old mountain railway, which has completed 100 years and recently has been dedicated to the nation as a world heritage track after being declared by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Started in November 1903 during the reign of Lord Curzon, this rail route has entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for offering the steepest rise in altitude in the space of 96 kilometers.
