Gulaba picnic spot in Manali, Himachal Pradesh
Gulaba, a popular picnic spot situated a few kilometers from Manali, Himachal Pradesh state of India, is frequented by travelers from around the world. Situated on the way to Rohtang Pass, Gulaba is an abode of flourishing flora.
The place obtained its name after Raja Gulab Singh, the then ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, who camped here when he was invading China through this area. Hence the place has historic significance also. Manali being a famous hill station is often visited by tourists throughout the year and they never miss to halt at Gulaba.
