Cactus Garden in Haryana
One of the largest succulent botanical gardens in Asia, is the Cactus Garden in Panchkula, State of Haryana, India. Set up in the year 1987, it is located at a distance of about 8 km from Chandigarh, the City of Gardens. This garden of about seven acres and is known for its rare and endangered species of Indian succulents.
One can spot nearly 3,500 different kinds of species in this cactus garden. This unique garden consists of three green houses and has been drawing attention of visitors; especially botanists across the globe.
