Thambekar Wada, Vadodara
Featured in this video is Thambekar Wada, a four-storeyed building in Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat state of India. This haveli (private mansion) was once the residence of the Diwan of Baroda.
The building is famous for its wall paintings, which are from the 19th century that portray the Maratha tradition. These paintings depict the scenes from the Indian epic Mahabharata, Lord Krishna’s life and the Anglo-Maratha war.
