Shri Swaminarayan Temple, Bhuj
This video is on the Shri Swaminarayan Temple, situated at Bhuj in the State of Gujarat in India. Dedicated to Shri Swaninarayan, this is a newly built temple complex after the original temple was destroyed in an earthquake on 26 January 2001. The new temple was made with gold and marble.
The idols of Nar Narayan and Swaminarayan in the form of Hari Krishna were removed from the old temple after the earthquake and new ones along with those of Radha Krishna Swaminarayan were installed.
The temple consists of one central dome and 25 minor domes with 258 pillars. The fringes are beautifully carved, which in turn give this shrine a heavenly beauty, serenity and a divine aura.
