Sayaji Baug in Vadodara, Gujarat
Sayaji Baug is a beautiful lush green garden situated in Vadodara city, on the river Vishwamitri in Gujarat, India. Also known as Kamati Baug, this garden spreads over an area of 113 acres. The garden was built by Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III in 1879.
Tourists visiting this place come across a rich collection of flora in the garden. There are around 98 species of trees in the garden. The garden consists of a zoo, a museum and picture gallery, a small museum for Health and Hygiene, and some fun rides like a toy train for children.
