Roadside Restaurant, Rajkot

Rajkot is the fourth largest city in the State of Gujarat in India and is well known for its historical significance. Featured in this video is a roadside restaurant where tasty Gujarati food is available. Gujarati cuisine is not like any other Indian cuisine. It is almost vegetarian and is traditionally served on silver platters to the accompaniment of rice and a variety of wheat breads. Gujarati thali (food plate) comprising rice, dal and curry along with vegetables, germinated beans, pickles and raita is an interesting combination.
