Reception Centre of Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary

Established on 18th September, 1965, Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a sprawling area of land, comprising dry deciduous forests along with evergreen and semi-evergreen vegetation and grasslands, fed by rivers and streams.

Once a part of the erstwhile Junagadh state, in 1965 Gir was declared as the last shelter of Asiatic lions.

Shown in this video is the reception centre at the entrance of the Gir National Pakr and Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park in the State of Gujarat in India.
