Peanut Harvesting, Rann of Kutch

Featured in this video is peanut harvesting or peanut harvesting in a village near the Little Rann of Kutch in the State of Gujarat in India.

The primary step in processing peanut is the harvesting of the plant in which matured peanuts are windrowed by putting them in specialized machines. The machine; digs, shakes and place the peanut pods on the top.

After drying the mature peanuts in open-air, they are then picked up from the windrow and packed in sacks.
