Mandvi Port in Gujarat

Mandvi Port, an ancient port known for the making of country crafts, is situated on the banks of the river Rukmavathi in the Kutch or Kachchh district in Gujarat state, India.

Located around 52 km from Bhuj in Gujarat this port was built by the rulers of Kutch, as a major centre for seaborne trade activities. This video shows the port and the surroundings and also the construction of a country craft.
