Mandvi or Customs House, Champaner
Situated around 45 km from Vadodara in the State of Gujarat in India is Champaner, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The place is famous for the mosques, which depict the architectural marvel of the olden days.
Featured in this video is the customs house locally known as Mandvi in Champaner. It stands in the middle of the Champaner fort and was originally built to separate the royal palace from the rest of the developments. During the Maratha reign, it was used as a customs house.
