Mandvi Beach, Kutch

Mandvi, a city situated in the Kutch or Kutchh district of the State of Gujarat in India is known for its pristine beach. It is located around 52 km from Bhuj, another city, which was completely destroyed in an earthquake in 2001.

The Mandvi port, developed in 1580 C.E. is a very old port and the ship building centre here is very famous for country craft construction industry, since ancient times. Located close to the Mandvi beach is an old palace, which is noted for its architecture. Horse ride and camel ride are the major attraction at Mandvi beach.
