Maharaja Fatesingh Museum at Vadodara
Shown on this video is the Maharaja Fatesingh Museum at Vadodara in Gujarat State of India. Housed within the Lakshmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara, the museum exhibits various collections of paintings including Indian and European art. Besides the paintings, the museum houses historic sculptures, Greco-Roman, European and modern, Chinese and Japanese art and European applied art.
The museum also exhibits one of the greatest collections of paintings by Raja Ravi Varma such as Nala and Damayanti, Sairandhri, Radha waiting for Krishna and Viswamitra and Menaka.
Apart from all these the museum houses a model of The Flying Scotsman locomotive, which is a major attraction here. The museum is open from 10:30 to 17:30 hrs on all days, except Mondays and public holidays.
