Kirti Mandir, Vadodara
Kirti Mandir or ‘Temple of Fame’ located in the city of Vadodara is a monument to the Gaekwads, a Maratha dynasty that ruled the princely state of Baroda. Built in 1936 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III, this cenotaph is situated to the north of the statue of Prince Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad. Vadodara is a major city in the State of Gujarat in India.
Kirti Mandir is a huge and magnificent E-shaped building and the interiors are decorated with photographs of the members of the royal family.
With marble-finished interiors and various murals of Gangavataran, this building attracts a large number of tourists from around the world.
