Inaugurated by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 27th May in 1950, the Kirti Mandir now houses a museum where one can find a large number of rare photographs.
Kirti Mandir is an attractive structure and the top of this architectural marvel is around 79 feet high, which represents the age of Mahatma Gandhi, when he died. The ancestral home of Mahatma Gandhi is located next to this building.
