Golden Bridge, Gujarat
This video shows the Golden Bridge in Gujarat state of India. It was built in 1881 by the British and this bridge connects Ankleshwar to Bharuch, two popular towns in Gujarat.
The British built this bridge in order to set up a better access for trading. It is known as Golden Bridge because the steel used for the construction of this bridge was so expensive.
Built across Narmada river, hundreds of vehicles pass over this historical bridge which is the major transport link between Ankleshwar and Bharuch.
