Dandi Seashore, Gujarat
Dandi is a well-known and historically significant village located in Gujarat state in India. This place is known for the Salt Satyagraha or Passive resistance by breaking the prohibition on making salt by Mahatma Gandhi. It was against the Salt Act of 1930.
The Dandi March was a historical movement in which the protestors walked 241 miles from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad to Dandi to break the Salt Act. This video shows the Dandi Seashore and the tourists enjoying at the place.
Since the place is significant, many tourists from around the world often visit this place. You can see children playing at the seashore and people enjoying camel rides. There is also a park near the beach which is used by the tourists and the locals to relax.
