Picture Gallery at Baroda Museum

Set up by the Gaekwads in C.E. 1894, the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery has an exquisite collection on art, archaeology, natural history, geology and ethnology.

Located at Vadodara in the State of Gujarat in India, this museum generates a great deal of interest among its visitors.

The museum houses a large collection of Indian miniatures, European oil-paintings, sculpture, textiles and exhibits from Japan, Tibet and Nepal. Apart from these, has a good collection of Indian and foreign coins and a wide array of research materials on science and natural history.
